Summary
Medicare Advantage lives on a 180-day notice period. Six months of lead time sounds generous and is exactly why it gets missed.
Governing language
This Agreement shall continue in effect for successive one (1) year terms unless either party gives written notice of non-renewal at least one hundred eighty (180) days prior to the end of the then-current term. Provider agrees to comply with all applicable Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requirements, including 42 C.F.R. Part 422, and to permit audit of records relating to services furnished to Plan enrollees.
